"This film is a poignant personal quest that begins in Diamond Bay, Martinique, and continues across three continents. It illuminates what it means to be Black today and to be a descendant of slaves in a globally interdependent world. In this spatial, temporal, visual, and sonic journey of reflection and sensation, we will be guided by the Martinican artist Laurent Valère, whose monumental sculpture, CAP 110, evokes a fruitful transatlantic dialogue with diverse cultural actors of the Black diaspora." -- Summary of the Pan-African International Film Festival.
