Infrared Spectra and Vibrational Assignments for cis and trans 1,2‐Difluoroethylenes: HFC=CFH, HFC=CFD, and DFC=CFD
Abstract
Infrared absorption spectra from 4000 to 250 cm‐1 are given for the cis and trans 1,2‐difluoroethylenes, including the isotopically substituted species, HFC=CFD and DFC=CFD. A complete assignment of the fundamentals for the cis series is obtained including observed bands for all but the A 2 modes. In the trans series eight fundamentals are given for HFC=CFD and seven each for HFC=CFH and DFC=CFD. Of these the B g modes and the lowest‐frequency B u modes are calculated.
