Abstract
A Concept Inventory (CI) is an assessment used to measure student learning in a course. Standardized and widely used CIs allow comparisons among pedagogical techniques across courses, instructors, and institutions. Conceptum is a website designed to streamline the CI development process by allowing for open collaboration among experts. We currently offer support for choosing and ranking topics, collecting interviews with students, developing survey and exam questions, and distributing surveys and exams to students. Those tools will be used to develop a CI for a Data Structures course.
